WHAT WE DO
EDUCATION
"The future of our planet is in the hands of our children". The education system has to change. If we want to save our planet, the only and most effective way is with the new and future generations having imprinted in their minds the care for our planet. To achieve this, the education curriculum should include compulsory environmental subjects in all stages of learning.
TECHNOLOGY
We worked through the years in a solution for the pollution of oceans and created a stop-at-source system which can stop and retrieve up to 92% of the floating and submerged plastic carried by rivers towards the oceans. Clean rivers, cleaner oceans!
CIRCULAR ECONOMY
There's no point in cleaning our rivers and oceans, only to collect the plastic and rubbish and leave it in a different place. This just moves the pollution from one area to another. We partner with private and governmental organizations to develop new products and services, as well as plastic credit market opportunities, creating new revenue streams that increase jobs and profitability.
CHANGING THE FASHION
Fashion production makes up 10% of humanity's carbon emissions, dries up water sources, and pollutes rivers and streams. What's more, 85% of all textiles go to the dump each year (UNECE, 2018), and washing some types of clothes sends significant amount of microplastics into the ocean.

THE EU UPSTREAM HORIZON MISSION
Think Ocean is developing on an evolved Stop at Source technology to be deployed in the Danube river basin. The aim will be to stop and retrieve the inland plastic from 9 countries before it reaches the ocean. The task is a monumental one. 1770 miles of river, 9 countries and a discharge of 6400m3/s seems impossible, but doing nothing, or just talking about solutions is not enough. We have to take real action with concrete solutions. We have to try and we have to achieve.
There is no other way to save our planet.
